There are things one does in life that, with the passage of time, become somewhat like a signature of your style, some characteristic that is likely to identify you to your colleagues at work, to your friends, even your family. No matter where you are or what are you doing, people start to associate you with this trait or “quirk” every time they see it or think about it. I definitely have one, without which I find it hard to imagine myself.
A personal style signature or “identity” can be anything—a brand of perfume, a certain watch, a style of jewelry, a color, type of music, or even words that are always in your vocabulary or a unique way you communicate. For some people, it becomes an “amulet of luck” for bringing them all that they desire. Not surprisingly, they like the positive feeling it gives them to face the journey, while to other people, it is simply a specific thing that signifies their style.
Your personal signature or identity is something particular to your style and cannot be “invented” or “copied from someone,” as you could not “lie” about such a thing for very long. It comes naturally with the times and experiences of your life until you start to choose things to have or to enact more often in your life, and then you find yourself completely addicted to it. And at this moment, it means that you have a personal style identity!
Over the years of traveling and working in different organizations with different environments and cultures, I have gradually changed my lifestyle— for the better, I believe. However, there is one thing that has come along the way with “me”: I cannot see myself without high-heel shoes, more specifically, my Escarpins!
Although it is definitely only a small detail, it makes a “beautiful” difference in my look for the day. Escarpin shoes are elegant, classy and more than a bit “sexy.” Without a doubt, “my beloved Escarpins!” is my personal style signature.
